Annual Beverley Bus Trip

Saturday 2nd December; Annual Beverley Bus Trip

Bus leaves Leeman Road Memorial Gardens 2:30pm. Return to York for 10:30pm. Cost £12 – £15

This trip is filling up fast so book early to save your place on the bus.

As always this is a popular trip.

Cycle Social

All the York CAMRA cycle rides are on a Friday evening meeting at 7pm at the starting pub and leaving at 7.30 prompt. Please note this is the last ride for 2017 We will resume February 2018.

10th November. Waggon and Horses Lawrence street, 7pm, Deramore Arms Heslington, Derwent Arms Osbaldwick, Black Horse Monk Bar, The Maltings.

Unlike Friday 5’s it is not possible to give times and places in advance because those present on the night may wish to vary the route due to weather, changes in pub status or there may be a beer festival on route worth visiting. The pubs listed after the first one are only a guideline to the ones that may be visited.

CAMRA Pub of the Year, George & Dragon, Hudswell

Saturday 21st October

Bus tour to the CAMRA Pub of the Year George & Dragon at Hudswell, Near Richmond.

This pub  was named National CAMRA Pub of the Year for 2016. It has a large beer terrace offering fantastic panoramic views over the Swale valley.

Rescued and refurbished by the community in 2010 .

Plan is to visit Masham several pubs on offer and Blue Bell, near Boroughbridge.

Depart Leeman Road Memorial Gardens at 11am to get back into York for 7pm

Hare & Hounds, Town & Country Autumn Pub of the Season

Bus Tour to Hare & Hounds, Holme upon Spalding moor. Town & Country Autumn Pub of the Year presentation,

On the return journey we plan to visit Black Swan, Asselby, Kings Head, Barmby on the Marsh, Wadkin Arms, Osgodby & Hare & Hounds, Riccall.

Depart from Leeman Road memorial Gardens at 2pm return to York for 9:30pm
