This the Second bus tour to give you a chance to collect your stamps towards the Ale Trail. or if you prefer another chance for another good day out.
We will be picked up at Leeman Road Memorial Gardens 11:30am, and return 7:30pm.
We will visit the following Pubs; Stone Trough inn at Kirkham Abbey, Bay Horse at Burythorpe, Jolly Farmers at Leavening, Half moon Inn at Acklam, Fleece at Bishop Wilton and Gait at Millington.
There will be plenty of time to eat at Bay Horse before moving on.

Bus Departs Leeman Road, Memorial Gardens at 11:30am,
Pick-up at Olympia Hotel, Selby. at 12:40pm
Return back to Selby about 6:05pm.
The tour includes the Presentation to George & Dragon for Town & Country Summer Pub of the Season.
We will be calling at Olympia Hotel, Drax Sport & Social club, Odddfellows at Carlton, George & Dragon, 3pm at West Haddersley, Black Swan at Wistow and back to Selby, Giant Bellflower.
If you are doing the Ale Trail don’t forget to bring your leaflet.

Friday 5, takes us to Selby via Arriva Bus No 415 from Piccadilly at 7pm arrive Selby around 7:35pm,
Meet at the Three Swans 7:40pm then moving onto Bay Horse, Blackamoor Head, Giant Bellflower and finally at George Inn.

If anyone wants to arrive earlier so they can get the earlier bus back to York, We will meet at 7:45 Three swans, Unicorn is a little further out but worth a visit.

Wheatsheaf, Burn. Oddfellows Arms, Carlton. Jug, Chapel Haddersley. George & Dragon, West Haddersley. Black Swan, Wistow. And Grey Hound / Hare & Hounds, Riccall. Leaving Leeman Road, Memorial gardens at 11:30am, return by 7:30pm. Cost TBA
Friday 5: Lendal Cellars 7:30, Terrier 8:15, Duke of York, The Hop and Brew York
Walk around the Bar Walls to visit some of the Pubs near by,
( Cannot Guarantee the Daffodils will be in full bloom)
The Walk will start at The Red Tower, 12pm Foss Islands Road. with the first Bar Walmgate Bar we descend to call at either one of the three pubs on Lawrence Street.
The next call Fishergate bar and the Phoenix or Woolpack onto Posterngate, Here we leave the Walls till we cross the Rivers Foss and the Ouse calling in at the Swan before ascending the walls at Baile Hill.
On wards to Victoria Bar where we can have a short walk to Golden ball, before re-joining at Victoria bar to Micklegate Bar here we can descend to the Punch bowl. Then onto the next section passing by the Railway station with views towards the Minster. Onward to barker tower and descend to the Maltings,
Cross Lendal Bridge turn left into museum gardens follow the wall to the right to Bootham Bar. Or alternately walk through the gardens to the Minster Inn. Retrace to Bootham Bar; call in at Eagle & Child before we re-join the walls to the northern corner & Monk Bar. Here we can visit the Royal Oak before finishing the final section of the walls which ends at Layerthorpe.
Please take care at all times there is a lot of steps to climb up and down especially after a few drinks. remember you do not have to complete the walk in one day.

Bus trip to Town & Country Pub of the Season.
Please come along and join us in the Presentation to the
Bay Horse, Burythorpe.
This pub closed in April 2014 and Fantastically refurbished re-opened October 2016.
Bus will pick up at Leeman Road memorial Gardens at 1pm. and will return back to York by 8:30pm. Cost £9.00
On our way out we will Visit; Stone Trough Inn, Kirkham Abbey then Bay Horse, Burythorpe for the Presentation Followed by. Jolly Farmers, Leavening. Fleece, Bishop Wilton & Grey Horse, Elvington before return to York.

Saturday 18th March: Social visit to Wakefield via train meeting at the station for 11:30am for the 11:45 (Plymouth, Cross country train) to Wakefield. Arrive at 12:22.
