Every two years we run a survey of all the pubs in the City of York, capturing all the beers and real ciders. It’s a great opportunity to see how varied and exciting the range of available beers is in the city on any one day. And over time, it allows us to see patterns emerge of small and local breweries getting their products on the counter and sadder news of pubs closing and no longer with us.
This year’s beer census is on 7 March 2020 and we’re looking for volunteers to take part on the day. If you have an hour or two and fancy popping into a couple of pubs and noting down their beers then pop your details in this form. You can choose specific pubs or let us know which area of the city you fancy and we’ll allocate you some.
After you have surveyed your pubs, then drop the survey forms into us at HQ at Brew York on Walmgate and have a beer on us.
